Á mánudaginn komu Hulda og Stefán. Þau eru á svaka ferðalagi, héldu af stað frá Bozeman og keyrðu alla leið til San Francisco og þaðan til okkar.
Við erum búin að hafa það ansi gott síðustu daga, búin að spjalla og spjalla og spjalla aðeins meira.
Ég fór með þau í smá túristarúnt um miðbæ Santa Barbara í gær og síðan fórum við niður á strönd og röltum um. Veðrið var mjög gott og Hulda og Stefán fengu aðeins að kenna á því :) Bæði hálfbrunnin eða vel rjóð að minnsta kosti.
Í gærkveldi fórum þá út að borða á Chilis, drukkum margarítur og fengum okkur alls kyns góðgæti. Það eina sem skyggði á kvöldið var hræðilegur þjónn. Hann virtis eiga í miklum vandræðum með að gera hlutina rétt. Sem dæmi má taka: Gleymdi að koma með servíettur fyrir alla, kom ekki með hníf fyrir alla og þegar ég bað um hníf fyrir restina kom hann bara með hníf handa mér. Forrétturinn kom of seint og við vorum ekki búin að borða hann (við vorum ekki að hanga) þegar aðalrétturinn kom á borðið. Síðan fengum við okkur aðra umferð af drykkjum, það tók næstum hálftíma. Síðar um kvöldið bættust fleiri við í hópinn og þá gleymdi þjónninn líka að koma með hnífapör og servíettur.
Eflaust hefur þessi blessaði þjónn eitthvað gert rétt en hann virtist ekki gera neitt annað en að klúðra hlutunum.
Þrátt fyrir þetta skemmtum við okkur einstaklega vel, líklega hafa margaríturnar og félagsskapurinn átt einhvern þátt í því :)
Stefán og Hulda yfirgáfu okkur síðan í morgun, þau voru á leiðinni til Las Vegas, ætluðu að skoða Hoover Dam og jafnvel kíkja á Gífurgil (öðru nafni Miklagljúfur) áður en þau héldu aftur heim til Bozeman.
Rosalega gaman að fá svona heimsókn.
