Síðasta helgi var stórskemmtileg, við Arndís Dúna tókum okkur til og fórum í fyrsta langa bíltúrinn okkar saman en leiðin lá til Pasadena.
Ferðin til Pasadena gekk nú ekkert allt of vel, ég var aðeins of sein af stað og lenti í umferð í LA, ég er nú reyndar að komast á þá skoðun að það er sama hvenær maður leggur af stað, LA er bara ein umferðarteppa. Ég var því rúma 3 tíma á leiðinni og þar af grét Arndís Dúna í rúman klukkutíma. Mikið fjör :)
Á laugardaginn héldum við stelpurnar í IKEA því nú skildi kaupa jóladót.
Ég keypti helling af dóti en hlutfallslega ekki svo mikið af jóladóti (þótt ég hafi keypt slatta). Það er ótrúlegt hvað litlir hlutir eru fljótir að safnast saman í að verða alveg ógeðslega mikið :)
Sunnudaginn tókum við frekar rólega, stússuðumst aðeins því búið var að bjóða fólki í kaffi um kvöldið. Vala bakaði síðan eplaköku og piparkökur og ég fékk að skreyta nokkrar slíkar. Ég keypti reyndar óvart eitthvað skreytingar gel sem harðnar ekki svo við gátum bara skreytt nokkrar kökur (ekki hægt að stafla þeim í kökubox ef þær límast saman).
Ég hélt heim á mánudaginn eftir að snæða hádegismat á skólasvæði Caltech. Heimferðin gekk mjög greiðlega og ég var innan við tvo tíma á leiðinni. Engin umferðarteppa í þetta sinn.
Í dag var ég að passa og núna er ég alveg búin á því. Drengurinn sem ég er að passa er nefnilega farin að standa upp og það þarf virkilega að fylgjast með honum. Ég komst líka að því að heimili mitt þarfnast ýmissa breytinga fyrir næsta skipti sem ég passa. Allt pappírsdót og hreinlega allt í heiminum þarf að hverfa úr stofunni.
Þú hefðir nú getað sagt þér það að þegar börn fara að standa upp og labba þá er oftast allt í hers höndum.Róman Darri var hér um daginn og þá var allt tekið og sett upp á hillur ég tala ekki um dúkana sem er auðvellt að toga ofan á gólf.Bráðum fer Arndís Dúna að gera svona hluti.HAHA og svo hann litli putti spilamann eins og Lara kallar HERRA Kjartansson.Bestu kveðjur til ykkar Mamma GAMLA.

Og hvortsemer ætlum við ekki að halda jólin hérna á Íslandi núna þannig að við þurfum ekki að eiga svo mikið af skrauti. Held samt að ég setji eins og eina seríu út í glugga. Eða kannski tvær :)
