Steikur og steikur

Ég er ennþá að jafna mig eftir helgina, það var alveg hrikalega gaman, við héldum grillveislu á laugardaginn og skemmtum okkur mjög vel.

Á sunnudagskvöldið bauð Bragi okkur út að borða á mjög góðum steikarstað hér í bæ. Við urðum sko ekki fyrir vonbrigðum því maturinn var gjörsamlega frábær, bráðnaði hreinlega uppi í manni.

Ég veit ekki betur en að strákarnir hafi skemmt sér ágætlega um helgina og vonast auðvitað til að sjá þá aftur fljótt :) Þeir hafa þó gleymt nokkrum hlutum hér, nema þeir hafi ætlað að gefa okkur þessa fínu skó, bolta og geisladiska. Ætli við sendum þetta ekki heim fljótlega.

Já, takk kærlega fyrir mig, ég held ég hafi aldrei á ævinni borðað jafnmargar "gúrmei" nautasteikur á einni viku.

Boltann megið þið eiga en restina má senda heim.

Mér finnst alveg vanta færslu í þessa dagbók um það þegar Gunni var rjómaður í Settlers af Þóri bróður sínum. Það má líka taka það fram að þetta var í fyrsta skipti sem Þórir spilar þennan leik.

'Twas the night before crisis, and all through the house,
Not a program was working not even a browse.
The programmers were wrung out too mindless to care,
Knowing chances of cutover hadn't a prayer.
The users were nestled all snug in their beds,
While visions of inquiries danced in their heads.
When out in the lobby there arose such a clatter,
I sprang from my tube to see what was the matter.
And what to my wondering eyes should appear,
But a Super Programmer, oblivious to fear.
More rapid than eagles, his programs they came,
And he whistled and shouted and called them by name;
On Update! On Add! On Inquiry! On Delete!
On Batch Jobs! On Closing! On Functions Complete!
His eyes were glazed over, his fingers were lean,
From Weekends and nights in front of a screen.
A wink of his eye, and a twist of his head,
Soon gave me to know I had nothing to dread...

of name that was popular in the '60s as a result of controlled substances
being in widespread use. Back then, there were no restrictions, in terms
of talent, on who could make an album, so we made one, and it sounds like
a group of people who have been given powerful but unfamiliar instruments
as a therapy for a degenerative nerve disease.

Whether weary or unweary, O man, do not rest,
Do not cease your single-handed struggle.
Go on, do not rest.
-- An old Gujarati hymn
buy cialis cheap cialisOverall, the philosophy is to attack the availability problem from two
complementary directions: to reduce the number of software errors through
rigorous testing of running systems, and to reduce the effect of the
remaining errors by providing for recovery from them. An interesting footnote
to this design is that now a system failure can usually be considered to be
the result of two program errors: the first, in the program that started the
problem; the second, in the recovery routine that could not protect the
system. -- A. L. Scherr, "Functional Structure of IBM Virtual Storage Operating
Systems, Part II: OS/VS-2 Concepts and Philosophies," IBM Systems Journal,
