Það er búið að vera einum of heitt hér í Santa Barbara undanfarna daga. Allt að 30°C sem er allt of mikið fyrir minn íslenska kalda smekk.
Arndís Dúna er heldur ekkert ánægð með hitann því hún er búin að vera ótrúlega pirruð í dag og líður greinilega ekki vel. Ég endaði á því að hafa hana bara á bleyjunni og fór með hana út um hálf átta leytið því þá var orðið aðeins kaldara úti heldur en inni.
Um leið og hún kom aftur inn í húsið byrjaði hún að kvarta svo við Gunni enduðum á því að fara með hana í göngutúr í kerrunni svo hún myndi sofna.
Það gekk nú ekkert allt of vel í byrjun en að lokum gafst hún upp (enda orðin ansi þreytt) og sofnaði.
Í þessum skrifuðu orðum (klukkan að verða hálf eitt að nóttu) er 17°C úti og á morgun er spáð 24°C sem er nú bara sæmilegt.
