Eins og sumir hafa kannski tekið eftir, þá erum við Gunni búin að vera frekar löt við að skrifa undanfarið. Ég ætla nú samt ekki að lofa að ég verði duglegri að skrifa næstu vikurnar því mér finnst ekkert gaman að lofa einhverju sem ég er ekki viss um að ég efni.
Annars er búið að vera gestagangur hjá okkur hjónaleysunum. Markús, klikkaði þýski vinur okkar, kom í heimsókn og var hjá okkur í viku. Gunni var náttúrulega hæstánægður með það því þá hafði hann tækifæri til að spila meira golf (það er ekki nóg fyrir hann að fara í golftíma á hverjum föstudegi) og ég held að þeir hafi farið a.m.k. 3svar í golf.
Svanfríður og Öddi, (vinafólk frá Akureyri) kíktu líka í heimsókn til okkar um helgina og gistu í eina nótt, þau eru á ferðalagi um Kaliforníu að heimsækja ættingja og vini. Öddi bjó nefnilega í Kaliforníu í gamla daga en hann hafði ekki komið hingað í rúmlega 30 ár. Þau voru búin að vera ekta túrhestar, búin að fara til Las Vegas og ætluðu í Disney Land og margt fleira. Ég hef greinilega ekki staðið mig sem túrhestur hér því ég á alveg eftir að heimsækja þessa staði.
Markús fór síðan í gærkveldi og núna fáum við enga gesti þangað til við förum heim til Íslands. Það er reyndar svo ótrúlega stutt í það, ekki nema rétt rúmlega 2 vikur. Ég er farin að hlakka alveg gífurlega til jólanna og stefni að því að slappa af eins og ég get.
Á laugarinndaginn uppgötvaði ég jólatónlistina á Útvarp Sögu, mér finnst algjör snilld að geta hlustað á íslensk jólalög í Kaliforníu, lengi lifi internetið:)
