Við fórum loksins í það um daginn að panta okkur flugfar til Los Angeles. Við ætluðum að fara 2. janúar því Gunni þarf aðeins að mæta í skólann 3. janúar en því miður var allt uppselt þann daginn.
Við pöntuðum því flugfar á nýársdag, ég get verið fegin að ég drekk ekki lengur því annars yrði ég eflaust timbruð í fluginu. Gunni er hins vegar í áhættuhóp en þó finnst mér líklegt að hann hafi hemil á sér enda kominn með eiginkonu sem ræður flestu :)
Við leggjum af stað um 5 leytið á nýársdag og lendum á LAX klukkan 1 eftir miðnætti að staðartíma (þá er klukkan 9 um morgun á Fróni).
Ég er ágætlega sátt við flugið, það er eins stutt og hægt er (þurfum ekki að bíða lengi á flugvöllum) og var ekki yfirnáttúrulega dýrt. Auðvitað er kostnaðurinn við að komast út úr íslensku landhelgi þó 70% af heildarkostnaðinum annað væri nú ekki hægt ;)
